The Project Team

The project office for the Hirwaun project is based in Abergavenny. Enviroparks development Directors are advised by a team of experienced consultants. Companies working on the project design and the Environmental Impact Assessment (EIA) of the scheme, together with other tasks and specialist issues for which each is responsible, are as follows:

Enertech

A specialist in renewable energy projects that is providing project management services, advice on process integration and design evaluation. They advise the UK Government on renewable energy technologies.

Savills

Offering a wide range of land and property consultancy services including planning advice, technical assessment of environmental effects, co-ordination of the EIA and preparation of the planning application. Savills are an international company and are one of the worlds leading practices.

Envisage

An environmental consultancy service undertaking the technical assessment of any environmental effects and preparing the Environmental Statement which forms an integral part of a planning application.

PRC

Our architects are a large practice with offices throughout the UK and abroad. Their brief has been to design a 'state of the art' facility with low visual impact. The Welsh Assembly Government has insisted, as part of the land acquisition process, the all buildings meet the highest standards.

They are an international engineering consultancy with offices throughout the world.

Enviroparks is also working in partnership with several specialist technology providers to deliver its aims. The combination of technologies provides Enviroparks with high levels of efficiency with regard to fuel preparation and electricity production. It has also ensured Enviroparks has been able to choose technologies which include the Best Available Techniques (BAT).
