Proposed Site Layout
As the site is approached from the south east, the predominant feature will be the Visitor Centre surrounded by the reed beds and lagoon adjoining Fifth Avenue.
The layout is designed to reduce the visual impact of the Anaerobic Digestors tanks and Plasma Converter from the road and from the top of the adjoining Penderyn Reservoir.
Considerable landscaping is planned, which combined with the retention of the exisiting trees and shrubbery on the northern border of the site. We have also included a 'green' roof for the Visitor Centre and a 'green wall' on the southern boundary to further reduce visual impact.
