Aerial View Of Visitor Centre
The Visitor Centre houses the site administration and changing facilities. It also has a full educational suite for school parties of up to 40 persons. A site walk around tour starts and finishes here. A dummy control room allows visitors to see the site operations on a large plasma screen via CCTV and to view the computer screens controlling site operations. There is also an area for lunches. Outside the Visitor Centre there will be a small picnic area.
The purpose of the Visitor Centre is to clearly show how the waste arising in the region is efficiently processed and at the same time raising awareness about recycling and green energy production.
